AOP FRONTON
Certified organic, they mature their wines in jars, amphorae, barrels and Marie-Jeanne. Gift boxes. Adopt your vines” concept. Visits by appointment. Groups welcome.
The Iseppi family, winegrowers for 5 generations formerly based in Italy, has joined the Fronton PDO in Tarn-et-Garonne.
In 2019, the seventh generation will take over Domaine Labastidum in Labastide Saint-Pierre and develop organic production.
“Nature acts, man does”.
This is the philosophy that drives the Iseppi family in the production of their exceptional wines.
This particular attention to the environment surrounding their vines has enabled them to certify their wines as “Vignoble et Découverte”. Domaine Labastidum is also in the process of converting to organic farming, with a view to moving ever closer to biodynamic viticulture.
The family produces white and red wines, with the reds made from Négrette, the emblematic grape variety of the Fronton PDO. They mature their wines in jars, amphorae, barrels and Marie-Jeanne. Gift boxes.
These can be purchased directly at the estate or online via the Domaine’s website.
Entertainment is organised every Friday evening during the summer: wine tasting with charcuterie/cheese platters in front of the winery and vines.
Visits: maximum 25 people per group.
